Anita Bharwaj has been appointed the new Minister of Education in Kerala, according to a new video clip released by the Kerala government.
The video, which was shared on Twitter, shows Bhardweja as the minister of Education.
The clip was taken from the ministry’s official website.
In the video, Bhardwaraj is seen speaking with a group of students and the group’s leaders.
“If you are not a sex educator, why are you a minister of government?
If you have a job to do, why do you waste your time talking to a group like this?”
Bhardwagas words have been shared widely on social media.
The clip was shared in the same channel as a clip from an online video.
Kerala has not been a safe place for sex educators in recent times.
In April, two students, two teachers and two students were killed in a suicide bombing in the city of Kozhikode.
In November, Kerala had to put on lockdown due to a spate of bomb threats and a string of other crimes in the state.
