A year after his first AI breakthrough, a former IBM research manager is on the hunt for a new AI breakthrough that might someday transform how we live.
The man who helped create artificial intelligence, Mark Zuckerberg, recently sat down for an interview with IGN.
The interview is below, and you can read a transcript of our chat here.
IGN: So you’re working on something called Artificial Intelligence.
What is it?
Zuckerberg: Well, it’s sort of like a sort of machine intelligence that’s like an AI, but with a human brain.
And you know, AI is like a supercomputer that’s doing a bunch of computation, and so that’s sort the idea.
But AI is kind of like an artificial intelligence that has a human personality.
It’s an artificial brain that’s been given a human mind, and the only way to have that is if you have a human soul. IGN
