Gujarat, June 29: After a year of being deprived of basic education and the absence of basic books, a small group of students have taken the initiative to teach them the basics of reading and writing in their school.
“We are students of an education institution, but we have decided to make a school in order to teach students basic reading and spelling skills,” said the teachers of the school in the town of Bhujalpur.
The students are from the Bhiwani School of Education in Parel, where the teacher has a masters degree and has written many books.
He is the author of more than 150 books.
The students were informed that the school would be set up as a learning centre.
They are all illiterate.
The teacher is trying to reach out to them, said his wife.
They have been doing this for two months and are happy that they are making it happen.
